I met Michael when I joined fitness first back in December 2006 - I was unfit and out-of-shape but found it hard to get back into exercising - something I’ve done on and off over the years but have never been able to keep up for an extended period of time.
Now, instead of something I should do, my training sessions are something I look forward to and derive a great sense of achievement from. It is fun, personal and most importantly, I can see and feel how my body is changing for the better.
Mike has worked out a program suited to my specific needs and goals and keeps adding to it as I progress and to keep it interesting. Mike has also helped me with nutritional advice and guidance on my out of gym training sessions to keep me motivated and challenge me.
I especially appreciate that Mike understands the need to "have a life" and are creative in finding ways to achieve your goals without giving up your social life and the things you enjoy.
Although I still have some way to go in achieving my goals, I am stronger, fitter and in the best shape I have ever been! Exercising is now a very enjoyable part of my life and I cannot imagine my life without it!.

When I had my minor heart attack I weighed 103kg. The doctor took my blood pressure and it was over 240/140. Basically I was a heartbeat away from disaster.
Life can be simple when you have no choice – you either shape up or ship out. So I met up with Michael to talk about my fitness needs and what we had to do to help me. Michael took note of my asthma, back and blood pressure problems , and despite all of these issues was still prepared to take me on as a client.
I’ve been working with Michael since June 2008 and during this time we’ve achieved some good results:
- The exercise regime has brought my blood pressure down further,
- I’m now jogging and running which is something I never thought I’d do again with my back issues,
- I can dead lift over 70kg and bench press 40kg in repetitions, and
- I now weigh 93kg and dropping.
Why didn’t I do this long ago?

Michael has trained me since February 2008 . When I first began training with Michael I weighed 126 kilos and now I weigh an amazing 87 kilos!
When I came to Michael I had bad back problems,heart problems and a bad case of a low self esteem. Since training with Michael he has fixed all those problems and has even given me the motivation to keep training.
If it wasn’t for Michael’s help I would have been destined to have a heart attack or a stroke. I owe him a lot.
